This weekend we will be out once again undertaking work to improve yet another one of Nottinghamshire’s top sites for Grizzled Skipper butterfly. We will be heading to a site in the South West of the county, close to East Leake.
We will be meeting on Saturday morning (16th January) at 10am and working on site until 3pm. If you are able to come along and help out then I would very much welcome your help. Please contact Chris Jackson for details of the meeting point and he will send a map to you. Details to be found at: http://butterfly-conservation.org/301-10217/east-midlands-grizzled-skipper-work-party.html
This is one of two remaining tasks, this winter, that have been organised to support the conservation of grizzled skipper in Nottinghamshire. So far this winter we have had a tremendous amount of support from all of you and I hope that this continues this weekend.
