Nottinghamshire Flutterings 10/4/2017 Grizzled Skipper

A remarkably early Grizzled Skipper was seen by Nigel Woods at Langar yesterday. It may well be one of the earliest in the country.

Not our earliest Notts record though, that was on April 1st 2011 at Kilvington.

I had expected Green Hairstreak to be reported first.

I have received many records over the last week, my thanks to you all – you know who you are!
