Nottinghamshire Flutterings 6th May 2016 Skippers!

Both Grizzled and Dingy Skipper in the last three days.

Grizzled Skipper first record (singleton) on the 4th May by Graham Gamage at Staunton Quarry.

Dingy Skipper, just one, at Toton Sidings (Notts side) today. Several day flying moths too so make sure of your IDs.

The warm weather has also brought the Green Hairstreak out at Toton Sidings. Reported by three observers – Ian Dunn, Brian Parkes and Mark Searle who noted three in pristine condition.

No Common Blue reported yet to mark Leicester FC’s achievement! Also no confirmed Small Copper yet.

Many thanks to all who have submitted their April records, they have all been saved to the database but I have not managed to summarise them yet.
